For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship] – Romans 8:19 (Amplified)
Are you expecting a miracle in your body, finances, marriage or whatever? If you are, then I have a very important message from the Lord to you today.
When the Lord Jesus was given the book of Isaiah to read, He didn’t read the scriptures like every other person. The confidence and authority with which He read the scriptures arrested their attention, such that all eyes were fastened on Him. They had been accustomed to the scriptures being read as you would a promissory note because they were still living in the day of expectation. But Jesus read the scriptures as the One anointed to fulfil them. He introduced them to the dawning of a new day; the day of manifestation.
We (Christians) are not living in the day of expectation, for we were born to manifest the glory and nature of our heavenly Father. In the 10th chapter of Acts, the Bible tells us about Cornelius, a devout man. He prayed every day with an expectation that God would visit him, and that prayer was answered when Peter showed up at his house. Peter didn’t just sit there “expecting” God to do something; rather, he preached God’s Word and the Holy Spirit came upon Cornelius and his entire household as he preached. Peter “manifested” the true character of the sons of God.
The Bible says, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18). In other words, whatever your expectation is, it’s as good as done. So when will you stop expecting a miracle in your finances, body or marriages? When will you realise the days of expectation are over? The days of expectation have birthed the days of manifestation. You can just walk into manifestation of your expectation by declaring what’s been done for you in Christ (Revelation 12:11). He HAS HEALED you (1 Peter 2:24); He HAS MADE you rich (2 Corinthians 8:9; Romans 8:17); He HAS GIVEN you peace (John 14:27; John 16:33; Romans 5:1)…What you need is the knowledge of who you truly are in Christ! (2 Peter 1:2-3; Proverbs 11:9; Hosea 4:6)
The days of expectation aren’t for the Church, for we were born into the day of manifestation; the day of receiving anything we desire form God by faith. Therefore, stop expecting a miracle and start walking in your miracle by declaring, applying God’s Word on the situation you find yourself in. He has made you a victor (1 Corinthians 15:56) and more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Hallelujah!
