Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest – Joshua 1:9

Irrespective of the challenges that may come your way, you must learn to stand your ground in faith, knowing that your faith is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4). Never allow what you hear or see with your physical eyes cause you to lose heart and start voicing fear; stand your ground and keep talking your way to victory.

Some Christians loose heart and allow fear take a hold of them upon hearing the lies and evil reports from the enemy. The enemy will always seek to put fear in your heart by constantly bombarding your mind with negative thoughts. But irrespective of the negative thoughts or pictures he brings to your mind, refuse to fear, and refuse to speak negatively.

Do what Caleb and Joshua did; out of the twelve spies Moses sent to spy out Canaan, only the two of them stood their ground in faith. They said concerning the giants they are bread for us: their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not” (Numbers 14:9). That’s the voice of faith, and faith is what gives you the victory.

In Mark 9:23 Jesus said, “If thou canst, believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Never give up or give in. Keep the switch of faith turned on, for faith never fails! Our faith-filled words in the power of the Holy Spirit always prevail. When you find yourself in an uncomfortable position, don’t fret; don’t despair! Speak words of faith. When things don’t seem to be working out right, don’t say, “Oh God, why me?” Instead, refuse to be discouraged; stand your ground in faith and keep the victory shout on!
