In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. – John 1:1, 3
God made man to look like Him, and function like Him. One of the obvious characteristic features of God is that He is a creator. To “create” as used in Genesis chapter one is from a Hebrew word “בּרא (bârâ’)”, and that means to “bring something out of previously non-existent materials”. In other words, God doesn’t need to look outside for the materials with which to create anything because all He requires are inside Him.
God has placed in you His creative ability. Like God, you have the ability to bring something out of nothing. You can change the most negative of situations by speaking forth what you want to see into existence.
Understand this: your imaginative power is your creative ability. The Bible says God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that is at work in you (Ephesians 3:20). The power to bring to pass what your mind can imagine is within you. God wants you to know that you can recreate your world; you can make something beautiful out of any negative situation. Through your words, you can bring order and prosperity into your life. You can produce health in your body by calling forth health right out of the midst of sickness.
Another aspect of your creative ability has to do with creativity in the things you do – your work. As a child of God, you have the advantage because, unlike the unregenerate man, your creative abilities are not limited to what your mind can imagine. You have access to the secrets and mysteries of God (Matthew 13:11). Plus that, divine wisdom is granted you; thus you ought to exhibit such divine creativity that will astound the people of the world: “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” (Luke 21:15)
The Holy Spirit has anointed your mind to see further and deeper than the ordinary man. Therefore when a task is committed to you, open your mind to receive fresh and innovative ideas, and those around you will marvel at the creativity and dexterity with which you do the things you do.

Proclamation of Faith
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and nothing is impossible unto me because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me; therefore all things work together for my good by His power that’s at work in me mightily. Glory to God!
