But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ – 1 Corinthians 15:57

God’s plan for you is to live a victorious life through His Word. He wants you to get a hold of His Word, study it and discover your inheritance. In Acts 20:32, the Apostle Paul said, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Then, Proverbs 11:9 tells us that through knowledge—revelation knowledge of God’s Word—shall the just be delivered into their inheritance.

Thus, you have to know the Word, store it in you, and consciously put it to work in your life. That’s what puts you over in life. The Bible says “all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21); not “some things” or “only spiritual things” but “all things!” That means there’s nothing you need today that’s not already been made available to you by God through the Word.

This is one reason you must study the Bible, for it’s the Book of your inheritance. There’s no way of appropriating the blessings of God to your life without the knowledge of the Word. The triumphant Christian life that God has ordained for you to live can only be sustained by the acquisition and right application of the knowledge of His Word.

The more I study the Bible, the more inspired I am, the more excited I am about the life in Christ, and the more convinced I am about the transcendent life of victory, success and prosperity that Christ has brought us to! Your victory is in the Word of God, so study it to know it, for only through the knowledge of God’s Word will you discover and enjoy your glorious inheritance in Christ (2 Peter 1:2-3).

(Please do not forget to keep on praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are persecuted all over the world. And pray for Israel and its people as well: pray for the peace of Jerusalem as Psalm 122:6-7 tells us, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: THEY SHALL PROSPER THAT LOVE THEE (Jerusalem). Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces”. Thank you and God bless you.)

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the glorious inheritance that I have in Christ Jesus. My knowledge of that inheritance and the wonderful rights and privileges I have in Christ Jesus increase by the day, as I learn and put your Word to work, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
