Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen – Matthew 28:19-20

When God saves you, He makes you His partner in saving others; you become His co-worker in reaching others with His message of salvation. You’re not on earth to merely balance the ecosystem; God has a purpose for your life. He saved you, and left you in the earth to be His witness. Isaiah 43:10 says, “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen….”

You’re chosen and ordained of God as His able minister of the Gospel: “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit…” (2 Corinthians 3:6). As a minister of reconciliation, and a steward of the mysteries of Christ, you’re required to be faithful to the Lord in sharing the Gospel and teaching others the mysteries of God’s Kingdom (1 Corinthians 4:1-2).

In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul said, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” That’s the principle you’re a disciple, so you can disciple others; you’re to teach others the same truths of the Gospel that you’ve been taught, so that those you teach will in turn teach others.

Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord handed this glorious Gospel to His disciples, who were faithful to deliver the same message until it got to us in our day? Now that we’re the ones on the scene, we must not keep it to ourselves; we must tell everyone about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You’ve got to build someone else’s faith, and strengthen someone else with this message of hope, life and truth, so that when that one grows to be strong in faith, he’d do the same for others.

Dear Father, I thank you for counting me faithful and worthy to be your partner in the ministry of reconciliation. I thank you for your grace that works in me to teach others and minister your truth, to the end that they might do the same, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
