For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind – 2 Timothy 1:7
God has given you a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind. This means you have an excellent mind; you’re supernaturally intelligent. You belong to God’s “super-intelligentsia,” because your mind is anointed by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:16). As a result, when you speak, the wisdom of God should be heard in your words.
Not too many people may look at you and tell you that you’re sound, if you didn’t do something that seemed extraordinary. However, God says you have a sound mind. That’s the way He sees you, irrespective of your perceived shortcomings. You should, likewise, see yourself in the same light and declare accordingly. Say, “I’m sound; because the Holy Spirit lives in me; I belong to God’s super-intelligentsia.”
Don’t wait for anybody to say it about you. God already said it, therefore act on His Word. If you have kids, build them up with the same mentality; teach them to speak faith-filled words. Tell them, “You’re the best in school, and the most intelligent in your class,” and help them think and talk that way for they’re of God.
Receive Jesus in your life in order for the Holy Spirit to indwell and make you ‘God’s super-intelligentsia’. Here is how if you haven’t done that yet.
I’m super-intelligent, perceptive, and wise, because I have the mind of Christ! I have quickness of understanding; and I deal wisely in the affairs of life because Christ is my wisdom!
