And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature – Mark 16:15

Your life as a Christian is to be a testimony of Christ’s salvation; it is to bear witness of the reality of the Kingdom, and minister the Gospel to those within and outside your sphere of contact. In Mark 16:15, the Lord Jesus, before His glorious ascension, charged us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, that Christ has come, and has brought salvation to the whole world.

The Gospel has been committed to your trust (2 Corinthians 5:20), and many people may never hear it, except through you (Romans 10:14-15). It’s your responsibility to let others know what Jesus came to do. He was born to die for the sins of men, and raised back to life for their justification (Romans 4:25). He came to make men sons of God. Everyone in the world today must hear that Christ Jesus came so they can receive the God-life (John 10:10), and we’re the harbingers of this glorious news.

Acts 1:11 tells us that He’d come back one day, very soon. Jesus instructed us of the things that would happen before He comes again, and they’re happening the way He said they would (Matthew 24). The time of the Master’s return is at hand; therefore invest your life in soul winning more than ever before. The Gospel message is the only hope for the world today (Acts 4:12). It holds the answer to man’s entire predicament. It’s your responsibility as a minister of reconciliation to take the message of Christ’s salvation to the lost and dying in the world.

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me a bearer of the good news of Christ’s salvation. I invest my time, energies, and resources in reaching the unsaved with the Gospel, delivering them from darkness into light, and from the power of darkness unto God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
