And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God – Romans 12:2
The Word of God can re-program your life and give you a new mindset. Through meditation on the Word, you’re metamorphosed; your mind is re-programmed, and your values change. This will reflect in your language, as you’ll talk differently and act in line with your confessions of faith.
Proverbs 23:7 says, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”This means you’re not different from the way you think. You’re the character of your thoughts. Through months and years of continuously thinking in a certain way, your mind becomes programmed in that direction, and that’s the direction your life will go. This explains the reason some are in a mess, because they’ve been negatively programmed and think wrongly. If you’re in such a situation, you can change the course of your life and begin to journey in the right direction by re-programming your mind with the Word.
Our theme verse in the New Living Translation says, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think….” The only material given to us by God with which to renew our minds and transform our lives is His Word. You were born of the Word of God, therefore let the Word dwell in you richly, and meditate on it day and night. That way, not only will it change the way you think and talk, your life will be programmed for greatness and excellence, and levitate from glory to glory.
I am an offspring of the Word; therefore, I live in and by the Word, thus experiencing a day-to-day transformation and renewal by the Holy Spirit. I’m stirred and positioned for greatness and excellence, and walk in the victory of Christ today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
